Parents

Wow, its been a while since my last blog. I'm such a slacker.

My parents came to visit earlier this month and stayed for a week. It was so nice to see them after 4 months. We headed up to Billings to pick them up and on the way home we stopped at Fremont Motors so dad could get a new work truck. The only thing that could make this truck more old man, is if it was a dually!

The next day we took the 4 hour drive up to Gardiner, MT. The drive was scary and icy. I won't probably ever take it again in the winter. But the scenery was amazing. The reason we went up there was to take a snow coach tour in Yellowstone. This is something I've always wanted to do, and now that I've done it, I would strongly recommend it! (Safari Yellowstone) It was so beautiful with all of the snow, frozen waterfalls, and frost covered wildlife. The geyers and hotsprings had a totally different look to them. We saw a fox, coyote, a bunch of elk and buffalo, and 3 wolves. It was just our family and our guide. It was perfect.

This was the snow coach we took, Grant and our guide Pat, who was amazed by how smart the whole family was at his "Yellowstone trivia."

The rest of the week they were here was a blast, too. It was nice to just have them around.
